Get to Know Salisbury
Opened in 1972, the plant is one of the longest continuous running manufacturing facilities in Salisbury. Originally one of the Firestone Tire & Rubber plants before acquisition by Spartech in 1979. Home of Salisbury University, our plant is located about an hour from the I95 corridor - an ideal location to service the east coast. Many of our customers are located in New Jersey which is only 3 hours away. Our team prides itself on the long term relationships we’ve created with our customers and their comfort levels in contacting us directly when they need a new solution.
The team stays involved in the community through United Way giving and event participation, and by supporting the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree family sponsorship initiative every holiday season.
