Located in the Phoenix suburb of Goodyear, our Arizona plant is truly aerospace tested. This plant is the definition of a lean machine creating transparencies and windows for defense and commercial aircraft.

Get to Know Goodyear
From the moment you walk through the door at the Goodyear plant, you’ll instantly find yourself immersed in Goodyear’s story. Aerospace plane models line the entrance and represent the breadth of planes — including F35s, F18s, and F55s — that rely on Spartech’s MIL-SPEC products. The plant itself is even located in a former airplane hangar.
Goodyear takes pride in its unique ability to produce a variety of products that meet strict MIL-SPEC standards. Goodyear specializes in making cell-cast acrylic look just like glass, but outperforming it, for aerospace applications such as fighter jet and helicopter canopies. Glass can’t withstand Mach 3 speeds, but cast acrylic can! As the team creates these specialty products, they go so far as to segment off air filtered spaces so that no dust particles are stirred up that could cause scratches.
