Lucian Strong

Chief Commercial Officer

Lucian Strong serves as Chief Commercial Officer for Spartech, where he leads the company's global commercial organization, including sales, marketing, product management, customer service, and quality. He is responsible for advancing Spartech's commercial strategy, strengthening customer relationships, and driving profitable growth across the company's portfolio of engineered material solutions.

Lucian brings more than 25 years of executive leadership experience spanning advanced manufacturing, engineered materials, and technology. Prior to joining Spartech, he served in multiple executive leadership roles at CoorsTek, where he led global commercial organizations and business units across medical, electronics, energy, automotive, and industrial markets. Earlier in his career, Lucian spent almost two decades at Seagate Technology in progressively senior leadership roles spanning product line management, global OEM sales, enterprise account management, and channel strategy. He partnered with many of the world's leading technology companies, including IBM, EMC, Cisco, Oracle, and NetApp, helping introduce new storage technologies, expand strategic OEM partnerships, and accelerate global market adoption.

Throughout his career, Lucian has built high-performing global teams, led commercial and operational transformations, and partnered with customers to bring innovative products and solutions to market.

His leadership philosophy centers on developing people, creating lasting customer partnerships, and aligning commercial strategy with excellent quality and operational execution to deliver sustainable growth.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from the University of Northern Iowa and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas.
