Custom Extrusion Product Specifications

All projects are run through a comprehensive and tightly controlled process to ensure that all specifications are met.

Working closely with each customer, we gather specific aesthetic, performance, economic and environmental parameters necessary to meet their requirements. With our in-house Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools, we create a design concept that will integrate flawlessly with other components to assemble into a finished product.

Product Review
After coming to agreement with the customer that the design requirements can be met, we determine line speed, material selection, primary extruder, secondary equipment, tooling and project timeline. A quotation is then formalized and presented to the customer containing project detail.

Final Approval
During this phase, prints are completed and signed by both companies to ensure an accurate product in fit, form and function, hence meeting customer expectations. Purchase orders are then issued by the customer, for the creation of tooling and first samples.

Tooling / First Samples
Once purchase orders for tools have been received, tooling begins and time lines are set. First samples are presented to the customer for product approval, performance testing, and possible further dimensional modifications.

First Sample Approval / Production
After first samples are approved, the prints are signed noting any final modifications. Finally, purchase orders are received and production can begin.
