Spartech Polycom manufactures a variety of reinforced and precolored polymer compounds in polypropylene, polyethylene, and other thermoplastics for injection molding, blow molding, sheet extrusion, and profile extrusion. By adding reinforcements such as talc, calcium carbonate, glass fibers, and mica, Spartech Polycom provides enhancements to physical properties and processing not possible with unmodified resins. Although a number of compounds are maintained as stock products, most customer applications require specific knowledge of properties and material characteristics. As a result, each customer application is fully researched, formulated, and prototyped in our product development testing laboratory for both performance and processing characteristics.
