Color Concentrates
Spartech Polycom has developed a wide variety of color concentrates for use in blown film, cast film, blow molding,
injection molding, and extrusion applications. Our color concentrates are free of heavy metal based pigments and,
in most cases, FDA approved customer colorants can be formulated to serve food contact applications.
Our library contains over 40,000 different formulations for all types of polyethylene, polypropylene, and styrenic resins. Specialty products include tints, fluorescents, pearls, granites, and matte finishes. Standard products are listed below.
Blown Film
The color concentrates listed below have been developed to function well in LDPE, LLDPE, and HDPE applications. Typical usage levels range from 1% for thick-wall injection molding to 25% for thin cast films.
