Packalloy Clear Pac™
Packalloy Clear Pac™ is a thin-gauge/multi-layer packaging material with barrier properties that has exceptional clarity and strength. Produced through our advanced extrusion technology, it features excellent interior product display and can be manufactured in user-friendly package arrays that can incorporate specific opening features.
The Packalloy Clear Pac™ barrier materials are offered in two separate structures that can be customized for your needs. Both are FDA approved for direct food contact and have been primarily developed for those aseptic form/fill/seal applications where the customer desires the packaged product to be seen. Featured in two barrier versions that incorporate either PVDC (Saran®) or EVOH (ethyl vinyl alcohol) as the barrier material, these structures have gained major acceptance in the packaging of puddings, gelatins, fruits, and other convenience food items.
Although not specifically designed for retortability, certain designs can be hot filled and instantly chilled to provide desired product integrity.
