Windscreen Care
- Do not scrape on the windscreen*
- Use a soft clean cloth (cotton towel) and soapy water to clean
- Paper towels can cause scratching
- Do not use any ammonia based products (Windex)
- Do not use any chemicals such as paint thinner or solvent cleaners

What should I do if the paint chips off the windscreen?
- Lightly sand affected area to a feathered edge.
- Mask off area to prevent over spray.
- Spray with an acrylic lacquer.
What should I do if my windscreen scratches?
Some minor scratches and scuffs in the surface of the material are repairable.
- Buff out with a fine polish such as 3M finess-it-II or Mequiars #17 clear plastic polish; this should remove most minor scratches.
What if I have a deeper scratch?
- Sand the scratch with a 400 grit sand paper
- Once the scratch is removed wet sand with a 600 grit sand paper
- Buff out using 3M super duty rubbing compound and a high speed bonnet buffer
- Buff out with a fine polish such as 3M finess-it-II or Mequiars #17 clear plastic polish and a high speed bonnet buffer
NOTE: Although Spartech Marine uses the finest cast acrylics which are more scratch and chemical resistant than others, care must still be taken.
