UltraTuf CX
UltraTuf CX is a polyester alloy that has both the clarity and impact characteristics required of the skylight industry and lighting industries. On several fronts, UltraTuf CX helped to truly minimize the impact on the environment. For instance:

By utilizing UltraTuf skylights in a building, there is less dependence on electrical lighting during daylight hours that results in reduced energy consumption. The production of UltraTuf CX also utilizes less than half the energy of producing glass and is a safer material.

In the lighting industry, UltraTuf CX has replaced a material that had up to 10% scrap due to breakage in manufacturing and shipping.
  • Breakage and scrap were eliminated reducing waste.

Specifically formulated for the architectural glazing market, Solarex® SV has most of the same environmental benefits as UltraTuf CX.
