Other Products/Applications that Minimize the Impact on the Environment
We have developed several additional products that help to minimize the impact on the environment.

Enviro-Guard in Tub Surrounds
Enviro-Guard is a unique anti-microbial additive that can be used in tub surrounds, spas, and other applications.
Use of this additive not only reduced or eliminated mold and mildew growth, but also helps to reduce the frequency
with which a tub surround needs to be cleaned. Less frequent cleanings result in reduced usage of cleaning chemicals
and water.

SparAlloy in Boats
SparAlloy Ultra-Board is a made from a unique blend of polymers to meet the specific needs of the boating and marine
industry. This foam board is made from recycled plastic that would have normally found its way into a landfill and it
replaces pressure treated wood and metal products that require special coatings and additives that are often harmful
to the environment. SparAlloy is up to 20% lighter than marine grade plywood, resulting in increased fuel economy of
the boat and reduced freight costs through the distribution channel.

Low-E Poly in Gas Tanks
Low-E Poly is a Multi-Layer barrier sheet that is integral in allowing gasoline tanks to comply with the most stringent
CARB (California Air Resources Board) requirements. This unique barrier product, when twin-sheet thermoformed into a
gas tank, virtually eliminates evaporative emissions of gasoline, oil, and other additives.

UltraTuf CX in Lighting
UltraTuf CX has been used in the lighting industry (light cover). It replaced a material that had up to 10% scrap due to
breakage in manufacturing and shipping. Breakage and scrap was eliminated with UltraTuf CX, forming cycle times were
reduced by 20%, protective packaging materials were reduced by 15%, and freight costs were reduced by being able to fit
more pieces in a truck.
On several fronts, UltraTuf CX helped this application to truly minimize the impact on the environment.

Packalloy TFPP in
Food Packaging
Packalloy TFPP is an Olefin alloy that is engineered to go from "freezer to microwave" and ultimately be used as one-serve
dinner ware. This multi-functional product reduces the need for multiple containers to serve the various needs
(freeze, heat in the microwave, eat off of) and the associated cleaners and water required to clean these multiple containers.
In addition, Packlalloy TFPP is fully recyclable.
