FloorLite TPO

FloorLite TPO is Spartech's latest innovative calendared TPO surface for the Marine market. This material combines a low specific gravity resin with mar resistant additives for finished flooring that is lower in weight and superior in toughness. FloorLite TPO is a premium proprietary formulation used as RV SUT tail gates and entrance treads, marine storage flooring and automotive cargo van flooring.

Processing

FloorLite TPO can be heated in standard thermoforming ovens. FloorLite TPO is typically formed on aluminum matched tooling.

Fiberglass or epoxy tooling, can be used. It is readily hand-formed for prototyping. Care must be taken during forming so as not to overheat the sheet. As with any thermoplastic material, care should be taken to account for the coefficient of thermal expansion when considered design parameters.
