Performance Additives

A fire rated additive for TPO membranes utilized in singe ply roofing, UV-Pro SPR, is available from Spartech Polycom and is targeted for the building & construction industry. With its fire rating, non-halogen feature, color availability, and cost effectiveness, key applications for this product include commercial roofing, as well as warehouse roofing.




Laser Pro produced by Spartech Polycom provides a cost effective solution for OEM's who desire to identify their molded plastic parts via laser etching. Laser Pro can be added to most polyolefin resins with no change in properties to the base resin. Eliminating the need for paper stick-on labels, Laser Pro has been embraced by a number of automotive component part manufacturers, and is now being marketed in the materials handling, electronics, and transportation industries.




Spartech Polycom has responded to the static control challenges of the marketplace with the introduction of StatPro SD, a color concentrate which can be added to a wide variety of polyolefin resins. The addition of StatPro SD has been shown to mitigate some of the problems associated with static electricity. StatPro SD provides a cost effective solution for the static dissipative requirements in the electronics, materials handling, and transportation market segments.




Spartech Polycom is introducing Sta-Dry, an innovative concentrate, which when added to polyolefin resins produces a surfactant system, that allows for liquids to rapidly disperse upon contacting the surface and then release to an absorbent core. Sta - Dry has proven to be the perfect solution for a number of applications in the personal health and hygiene market segment.
