Korad® Transparent Films
 |
| Extra wide Korad® films are used to provide abrasion and detergent resistance while protecting the thermoformed part from yellowing attributable to fluorescent lighting. |
Spartech PEP utilizes an innovative extrusion blown film process that yields the world's only production of extremely thin yet wide width Korad® acrylic films. Measuring as thin as 0.0015" and ten feet wide, these films are produced on a commercial scale giving PEP the ability to participate in markets such as thermoplastic boat hulls (replacing FRP construction), bathtubs, one piece shower surrounds, farm tractor canopies and exterior building panels. Spartech PEP has exclusive worldwide rights to the Korad® polymers used to produce Korad® films and offers a variety of formulas to meet your exacting specifications.

(a) The user must always ascertain the suitability of any Korad laminate in the intended end use.
|
(b) The low gloss surface is achieved by internally incorporated micropulverized materials, and not by simple mechanical matting of the surface; thus matte is retained during thermoforming.
