UV & Visible Light Screening Properties
To understand how Korad Acrylic film protects any thermoplastic substrate, consider the UV transmission curves of transparent and Pigmented (Opaque) film.
Note how virtually no UV radiation in the critical range of 295-370 nanometers passes through either transparent or pigmented opaque Korad film. This "screening" effect is analogous to suntan lotion for skin. The clear Korad film acts as a clear lotion; the pigmented opaque film acts like Zinc Oxide paste for ultra protection. Thus, the appearance of your Korad laminated part will exhibit excellent long-term weatherability, resisting fading, crazing, dulling and hazing.
