Korad® is used on many consumer goods to provide color or printed decoration with excellent abrasion protection. Transparent Korad® can be used over substrates to create excellent depth of color.

Korad laminates over ABS, HIPS, PVC, PMMA, PC, and Melamine and has been commercially used for over thirty years in a wide variety of applications. In that entire period, there has not been a single failure of the system or a customer complaint regarding the color fastness or integrity of the Korad film. For all substrates, three design possibilities exist:

1. Transparent film over pigmented or transparent substrate.

2. Pigmented film over pigmented or natural color substrate.

3. Reverse surface printed film over pigmented substrate.

Both transparent and pigmented films are available directly from Spartech PEP. Reverse printed films in an unlimited variety of patterns and colors are directly available from our Rotogravure printing partners.
